06/22/03 Robert Caramella I THINK THE # 13 WAS THE NURSE CHARLIE DELZONI I THINK.
06/22/03 3-Wide I remember Charlie in the 13RN, and think it was this shape, but I can't remember the color (gray?)
06/22/03 Mike Rogie My brother and I used to sit with Mom Hartman in the 3rd turn at Flemington.  We were there the night Jay Aten was driving the #4 and winning the Sportsman 100 championship race and they thought he threw the race and didn't win.  It would have been his 3rd career sportsman win and he would have had to run modifieds from then on.  I think Jay was fired from the ride that week.
10/03/03 Bucky  Stevens Both Burnett frame cars.  I think JB also did the motors.  PS their was no rule that you had to move up after three wins in sportsman.   Jay Aten ran the flying circle ten with Joel Reimer.  Newt hartman could outrun most modifieds with his Burnett sportsman.
04/21/04 LT Great team to bad the Paul Kuhl rule screwed Mark (3 and out - how dumb).
01/09/05 Paul Garzillo Great looking pair of Mustangs!
Good guy Mark Hartman is currently a home builder in Readington, N.J., on the old chicken farm property on rt 523.
Remember the mid week shows at Flemington when the top 10 in sportsman points were invited to compete with the modifieds? Newt + Ray Liss always made a good show of it, and frequently "took the Modified invaders to school".

On one memorable Wed. nite 100 lapper, Newt was hit from behind on the last lap of a great heat race by a frustrated Sammy Beavers and knocked the battery out of Newt's car, allowing Beavers the win.
