Comments: | George Ault was a strong sportsman runner and showed some strength in the mid 70's in the Modified ranks. Notice the packed grandstand on another magical night at Flemington. |

05/23/03 | Kevin B. | George was one of my favorites in the sportsman ranks. I also remember him in a red #11-7 that ran very well, wander what he's up too these days, Kevin B. |
11/29/03 | Tony A | George lives in Florida, service manager at a car dealer This was a new car. I think the 2nd time it was out. After the frame was bent in a 3rd turn wreck at 'Flemington 2 weeks earlier, we built this new car using a Terry Ebersole frame. The wreck was due to George jumping over Archie Myers rear wheel. That's all folks. Tony A. . |
11/29/03 | Tony A | Hey Mark (Yaple), we had some fun putting that car together..... |
11/29/03 | 3-Wide | Hey Tony, when you get a chance let us all know who
Mark is (Mark Yaple?). George had a lot of fans back in the mid 70's and to me seemed to be right on the verge of being recognized as a strong modified talent when he had the flip in turn 1 at Flemington which destroyed the little red # 11-7. Thanks- |
12/17/03 | Tony A. | Hey Joe, Yes that is Mark Yaple. (11-7 number is George's daughter Amy's birthday) Thanks, Tony A. |
