Comments: Great picture of one of my all time favorites.  The R10 brothers..., I mean the Rio brothers owned Falcon was a beautiful car and Glenn really gave their cars a ride.

03/09/03 Todd L Great Car Great Driver need I say more? The R-10 legacy and winning continues to this day with Wade Hendrickson at the controls
05/13/03 steve fegley was rocket with glenn at the wheel at flemington, was simply unbeatable with fast freddy rahmer at the controls at grandveiw , and its still a rocket i understand at bridgeport . rio bros should get some kind of award i think they gotta be longest serviving car owners in history . ps , does anyone have a pic of glenns 96x? that was car started his winning ways at modified country.
06/05/03 steve fegley We talked about the 96x , my mom was huge Fitzcharles fan of both of um. Mom is 65 now so memory isn’t the best , but she tells me Glenn drove the 96x at Flemington , I swore when I was younger I had a pic of Glenn sitting on the rubrail of the 96 in the pits at Flemington. My mom believes it was this same car before was painted into the R-10 colors. I’m not sure bout that but I know 96x was a silver falcon with red numbers and red hood. God I wish I could find that picture. Does anyone else remember the 96x?
06/05/03 3-Wide Not sure of this, but I think I first remember Glenn in a either a little orange Mustang or Falcom #56 or #56X....  But then I remember something about Jim Baker who ran Reading in possibly the same car earlier?   Hopefully my the bits and pieces that are left from my memory will be enough for someone else to shed some light on the subject for Steve and help us out with his post above.
06/07/03 Steve Fegley Your thinkin of the Kennedy #56. It was a blue coupe and yes Glenn drove this car, as did Sammy Beavers in 71 at Reading. It was then built into an orange Mustang, and Glenn drove it again, and was later replaced by Jim Baker. I was at Reading in turn one infield when this car was destroyed. The throttle stuck an he went in turn one wall big time hard. If I remember right, it broke his arm. I’m gonna go see my friend who has tons old Grandview stuff. My mom tells me Glenn raced that car at Grandview also.
07/14/03 3-Wide Hey Steve, thanks to Dave Spurlin, we came up with a picture of the 96x!  You guys were right all along. (It's on page 28 of the 70's)
11/23/03 John Mc Mr Fegley is right, that was the old 96X that belonged to Fitzcharles himself, but it was red, not silver. Fitz hardly ran it, it was more of a backup. One other thing I read about it somewhere.....It was a Falcon w/ the roof from the Futura model, not a Mustang roof. I forget where I read it was a Mustang roof, but that is incorrect. I oughta concentrate more on important stuff than this crap, I'd be a millionaire!
11/23/03 3-Wide Yoy mean there is something more important than knowing the legacy of each and every stock car that ever hit the clay at Flemington, along with knowing whether a car had the original roof, a Futura roof or a Mustang roof?  Come on John... Get Your Priorities Straight!
