1/11/09 DALE WELTY This picture is at the Five Mile Point Speedway a quarter mile near Binghamton NY. They still operate ever Saturday night with Big Block -Small Block Modifieds as the headline class. I'll never forget that horrible crash at Rolling Wheels Raceway when Jackie got quite badly burned.
06.25.09 Roger Duttry Anyone wanting to see Jack can find him at the Kutztown Fairgrounds on Wed. nights throughout the racing season.

This Joe Lawrence #16 Coach was built in 1968 by Joe Lawrence and Pete Jackson. It was originally driven by Jim Markle, the driver of the Joe Lawrence cars (#95, #82) after the death in 1963 of DD Harris, the driver of Joe's #"AAA" cars.

Work commitments caused Markle to curtail his racing and Rene Charland drove the car in a couple All Star Racing League shows and the '68 Lebanon Valley 200.

I believe that former National Go Cart Champion Jackie Wilson's first-ever race in a Modified came in his attempt to qualify this car for the 1968 Eastern States 200 at Middletown.
