Comments: Comment from Russ:  I have sent in two photos of PeeWee Griffin's sedan, taken by John Kershaw and Howie Hodge. They are both prized by me, but I like the photo of the rear of the car, the best. Taken at Trenton Speedway in 1968, The lettering on the roof say he was representing East Windsor at Trenton. Howie Hodge was jsut recognized by EMPA for his outstanding photography. I had a chance to meet him and his wife, who also is an excellent racing photographer, at Motorsports and tell him how much I appreciated their work. Just super nice good people! I wish I had more of his photos! Thanks, Russ Dodge

04/15/08 Jack Slover Pee Wee Griffin's sedan was sold to Leroy Breese who worked at Bob Lashey's Amoco station on Mercer Street in Hightstown, NJ. Leroy painted it blue and white and I believe he ran it for a couple of years in the sportsman division at EWS.

Leroy and I were very good friends and I helped him as much as I could. Pee Wee also helped. A fellow by the name of Bill Horn tended to the motor and we all had a lot of fun racing Pee Wee's old sedan.

Herbie Tillman came up from Florida and talked PeeWee into racing the sedan at East Windsor. PeeWee told him one stay away from me and two don't even get near me. Low and behold, Herbie Tillman drove right over the wheels of little red and crashed! Needless to say, PeeWee was very very unhappy with Herbie. Shortly after that is when LeeRoy Breese bought the sedan..
05/10/08 3Wide Jack - Did Leroy Breese live on Fresh Ponds Rd in South Brunswick?  If its the same guy, he had a really cool 440 Cuda that he sold to a kid that I went to high school with back in 1977.
