Comments: Comment Provided By Russ:  Enclosed is a William Curley photo of Carl "Monk" Kellar with the East Broad St. Garage, black & white #95. In the picture also is the car owner Walter Woodlin (sp.)

This photo was taken at Vineland on May 24, 1963. Monk usually drove the John Horosky owned 69X Monk, a machinist tool and die maker was from Pottstown, Pa. He passed away several years ago.

A little history on the 95 car. Many different drivers drove the car at Vineland. It was sort of a house car for a while, meaning different drivers without regular ride drove it for a few show at a time. Al Tasnady and Jackie McLaughling to name a couple. Jackie who won with the car at Vineland begged to owners to take the car to Nazareth and run it there on dirt. Jackie told them that it was the most powerful Chevy he ever drove at that time. The motors were built by John Reganik, who owned the original 16J bought and driven by Elton Hildreth. The car was last run at Nazareth, ironically on dirt, driven by Bunky Higbee

Now we'll see what vintage car owners are reading this. The 95 is still in existence today! The body was removed and is sitting on the ground and the original frame and cage are still complete! Out of respect for privacy I can not tell the location in South Jersey. Thanks, Russ Dodge
