From Russ: Looks can be deceiving!! The color photo listed on page 22a shows
the "cleanliness" of the car! Bob had a great season at Flemington driving
the wheels off this beauty. Ugly..but could it run. I always liked the "soot"

| 03.13.11 | mark tresch | growing up my father and i went to all the tracks , living in new brunswick, we were nearby to edison, and i would get on my old bike and visit dale clickner , on meadow road, in edison, he would love to talk about that car, and would always let me watch him repair that car in that small shop next to the house, he would make many parts himself, repair, the wrecked car alone, as i watched, in the day when speed parts weren"t thought of yet, either he would repair it or make it or the car sat home, met up with him some time back, he remembered me, more good memories. |
