Comments: Comment from Russ:  This car was originally built for Doug Olsen to drive. At least that is the story. Dave Stanton (sportsman driver who grew up around Olsens) help Doug and others build the car, I believe.

03/11/05 Kevin Budden WOW!, this modified is incredible. the Olsen's show here what modified artistry was all about. Kevin Budden...
03/11/05 John Shipley I was just wondering did this Olson #92 become the Dave Stanton coach he ran at Bridgeport?  It kinda looks like his coach?  I think I can remember his and it sure looks like the Olson in the picture and if he helped build that one there is a connection.
11/01/05 Dave Daniels John, I believe Dave Stanton along with Mike Nardine, from Paulsboro, NJ, combined their efforts as Dave assumed the driving duties of the 92 Sedan.  Right after the Sedan, Budd along with Dave, Doug, and whoever else may have helped built the 92D Pinto, which I have in my possession right now, as a bare chassis.  Look by the number 92, you'll see Dave and Doug as the owners. I believe this picture can be dated to back to 1972 or 73'.  I'm not positive until I see Dave and ask him.
04/12/06 Dave Stanton This car was built to race @ Middletown & Nazareth, and the coupe was for Reading. That was because they had different weights for both tracks.  Reading was 2500 or 2550 & Naz. & Midd. were 2800lbs.

The year was 1968 I think. The sedan had a 4bbl. carb. on it.It also ran some of the AllStar races.  We took 6th in points @ Middletown that year.

The car was sold to B.C.Wood in New York and was renumbered B4.  I hope this update is useful to you.

Dave Stanton
P.S. Budd,Doug & myself built the car.
