Comments: Comment from Russ: This is a Bob Farlee photo of the Big Donkey taken in 1961. This shows Jim Hendrickson's name on the side as the driver. I went into my Vineland Speedway payoff sheets and found that Dick Havens drove the car at Vineland during the early part of the 1961 season. Bobby Allison was listed as the driver for one show. Bobby did compete at Vineland that year so maybe he did drive it one night.

Jim took over the car mid-season. As usual, Bob Farlee's are some of the nicest color photos ever! I'm guessing the location to be Allentown. Could use some help on that. I hope Paul, will be attending his induction to the Garden State Club's Hall of Fame and may be able to answer some questions for us. Thanks, Russ Dodge

02/10/05 Janet Davis This picture is from the parking lot at Langhorne. The track would have been behind the camera. That's U.S. 1 behind the car.
02/10/05 Tammy I believe this photo could be from the Langhorne Speedway.
02/23/05 Jim Jr. I know my dad drove this car at Vineland at least once but mostly at Old Bridge and Wall Stadium.  I do know that my dad told Paul to get a regular driver for dirt and rest is history with this car.
05/23/06 Ken Johnson I thought I was told by Lynn Paxton that Wolf's is a Diner on Route 15 around Williams Grove Speedway
03/22/07 Wayne Coffey Charley Wolf had a welding shop.   I think I became the owner of the 3 window coup that Gerry Chamberlain drove for Paul.  It ran as a sportsman from 1970 to1974 as the #27
