| 07/22/04 | Warren Wetzel | This photo depicting Otto Harwi and Jimmy Metzler is actually from the early 60's (around 1961,1962). Otto drove for Harold Cope during the mid - late fifties, winning several consecutive championships together. |

| 09/14/05 | Hemi Andersen | Sorry to say it, but this was the car Otto crashed and died in at Middletown racetrack, not the 999. At least the same color and number. I recall that it was called the Jimmy Metzler memorial car or something like that. Apparently Jimmy had died prior to the time that Otto was in his fatal accident. |

Otto Was killed driving John Cramers 999 This fact I worked for Otto as the track welder at both Nazareth Speedway and Dorney Park. I remember that phone call early Sunday morning about 2am that Otto was killed at Orange County Speedway in Middletown NY. I was not there because I was welding at Dorney on Saturday nites. |
