Comments: Comment from George M. Donmoyer:  This is from 1969 or 1970 and was the first true "Flying 0" (I think the late artist Charlie Guldner came up with it, he lettered all of my dad`s cars from 1969 to 1975)  Arthur "Sonny'" Rabenold was car owner and it was an ex Cookie Hauze car it was #"FIVE" in 1967.

The car was an inline Chevy six-cylinder 230 cu in parts in a 292 cu in block. This was the black and white #0 in 1968 and is the same car pictured in the Nazareth section "Bobby`s Camera" when he took the flight off of the loading dock. I think in 1968 my  dad won a majority of his heats and consi`s at Dorney but, it could been 1969 with the car painted like in this pic.

Now for the rest of the pic, in the far corner is one of "The Flying Bluebirds" probably #55 Kermit Boger. The orange #21 is Nevin "Butch" Holderman`s hobby-car. The class was renamed late-model in 1970 and went to two-digit #`s.

Now I just caught this looking at the pic, behind dad is the blue #4 of my "uncle"  the late Dale Sperlbaum him and my dad  were good friends my whole  life!  I was 6 or 7 and that my memories!

I wish my brother Mark and myself would have thought to get the pics we put in my dad`s casket copied! Dad was buried in his last helmet and firesuit. We lost dad in May of 1994 when he got it head-on by another driver crossing into his lane.....

What a fabulous car! My dad was a Georgie Donmoyer fan back when we were at Dorney Park almost every Saturday night in the late 60s.
