| Comments: | Comment: My Dad (Leroy Silvius) had got a 37' Chevy coupe. He, and Carl made a Sportsman out of it #3. They ran it at Hatfield, Nazareth, and the Allentown Fairgrounds with Carl driving it. They only ran it for about one season with little success. It had a 235 cubic inch motor that was bored .30 over. Because the intake manifold was modified they had to run with the modified class instead of the sportsman class because it wasn't stock. Needless to say they were under powered running with the modified class. |
