11.08.10 George Perkins What a great shot! Can't get enough of Wall racing from this era. A nice contrast in driving styles and the way the two cars handled.  Hulse has it hung out slightly, looks like he has his hands full while Kelly is just motoring along ( probably doing the passing ). I remember the 68 cars always appearing to have a lot more power then they could get to the ground. The 14 cars always handled well, this version especially so. The combination of Joe Kelly in this 14 was one of the most dominant combos I've ever seen.
11.08.10 Scott Ely I believe that Davey Hulse drove Woody Johnson's 68 just before Pete Frazee got behind the wheel. The Dick Barney (I think) Olds powered 3 windowed coupe #14 was one of my favorite Wall Stadium cars.
11.10.10 George Perkins I'm pretty sure this pic is from 1965. I'm in agreement that Hulse drove the 68 before Frazee but he also drove it after Pete left the ride. I also remember Hulse flipping this car down the back chute at Wall in one of the ugliest wrecks I've ever seen.
11.13.10 Don Houpt Great picture. My father told me many times that every time he got behind the wheel of the #14, he thought he could win. Always had confidence in that car and the way Barney would set it up. Thanks for the memories.
12.08.10 Charlie Miller Ain't they pretty! Two classy looking Mods. The #68 with it's full fenders and original hood, and the #14 with it's more modified look. I also agree with George , Joe Kelly seemed to always be just motoring along. There are a lot photos of Joe here in "The Vault" , weather on dirt or asphalt , he always seems to be just cruising along .
