Provider's comments: This is probably my favorite picture in The Vault.  I was too young to be there that night, but I'm old enough to realize just how spectacular this sport has been.

12/21/02 Palmco WOW, What an awesome picture! My heart rate sped up for a moment when I saw that picture at 7am this morning. Brings back many childhood memories of special nighttime feature line ups at various tracks growing up. Thanks for the "MORNING RUSH" no need for coffee now!
12/21/02 3-Wide All tracks should still do this today.  How many of us have childhood memories of drivers parking their cars in line like this and then standing where all fans could see them during driver introductions before the feature event.  I applaud Bridgeport for trying to keep this tradition alive.  I know it takes time, and it's a lot harder to get in and out of a racecar today, but if it is truly about the fans, then this HAS TO BE A PART OF THE SHOW!

This is not a sport about machines, it's a sport about the heroes that drive them....

12/21/02 Ed Duncan The picture above is the Vineland, N.J. Speedway ( not Old Bridge).  PS Thats a great shot.
01/31/03 Russ Dodge The picture is a William Curley photo taken at Vineland Speedway in 1964. The cars include: #81 Don Stives, #4 Tommie Elliott, #9 Herby Schoch, #28 Gil Hearne, XL1 Joe Kelly, #15 Richie massing, #16-J Elton Hildreth . It is one of my favorite photo in my William Curley Collection of Vineland Speedway. Thanks, Russ Dodge
02/04/04 Dawn Beautiful picture of the Vineland speedway.  My father (Ben Vanaman) raced at this speedway in the red & white 7VO car.  Our family has only one picture of my father now deceased sitting proudly in his car.  I have many fond memories of this racetrack but would love any pictures of the 7VO car, if any one has any to share would be greatly appreciated.
