| Comments: | Mike in this purple and yellow sportsman coupe. Not sure where this one is from, but I know Mike ran a purple and yellow coupe at Trenton in the Race of Champions in the early 70's. (You gotta love that little playboy bunny next to the # - maybe this is from the 70's after all...) We lost Mike 25 years ago and he will never be forgotten. |

| 11/5/03 | Walter Onora | One of the first races, I experienced at Flemington was Mike beating Budd Olsen,in the "Lightning Zero" in the purple and yellow coupe. This might of been one of Mike's first victories in the modified division at Flemington. I believe this occurred in the summer of 1968. What a race!!! Mike not giving an inch and Budd trying all the tricks in the book (of course on the outside!!) In fact might of been in this particular coupe!! |
