Provider's comments: Les Farley’s little coupe in line for the pits at EWS. (Looks like dual quads and "tuned exhaust" to me!)

03/07/03 Jim Murrow I'd sure love to see a picture of the beautiful, black #808, with the sprint car nose on it, that Les used to drive at Flemington... Anybody got one?
12/15/06 M Kubiak The 808 had an early Studebaker hood. Les told me this. There was also an 808A for a while. Dave Pace drove it. There was a red and white 080 that Les drove in the big race at the mile long Langhorne Speedway. I have a black and white distance photo of him in the 080.
12//22/06 Milan Kubik The nose on the #808 was around a 1950 Studebaker hood, which was modified to suit the car. Les was my favorite driver & he told me this. There was also an #808A which dave Pace of Hackettstown drove for a while. In 1963 there was an #080 car, which was red & white. Les broke the car in at Flemington but it was made to race in the Langhorne speedway race towards the end of the season. I have a long distance shot of the #080 at Langhorne in black & white. I wish I had an #808 shot.
