Car #: #A3
Driver (s) : Charlie Cregar
Location: Flemington, NJ
Date: 1965
Photographer: Ace Lane   ( www.acelanephotography.com )

Comments: Charlie Cregar poses with Fred Brian's Circle A3 at Flemington in 1964. The car appears to be the same car as the #13 of Tom Green already posted. Jim Fodor welded the cars for Brian.  In the 1965 picture of the #13, I think it says Jim Fodor on the side as owner and Fred Brian as mechanic. Their roles were reversed. This is an Ace Lane picture. Thanks, Russ Dodge (comment from Russ)

04/25/03 Todd L I am not sure but I think Charlie Cregar owns an auto dealership at the corner of Route 1 south and Slack Avenue in Lawrenceville. And If my memory is correct Fred Brian gave my Uncle his first job as a mechanic. I think Fred's garage was the old Sunoco on Route 1 south in front of  what is now Joe's Crab Shack.
04/25/03 3-Wide For some reason, I always thought that Chalie and/or Chip Cregar lived way up Route 31 above Clinton...
05/04/03 Russ Dodge Charlie Cregar's home was on rt.31 (formerly rt.69 before the college students tore down the sign for their dorms!) It was located on the right just before the Pennington Circle, I recall. . This is really a strain of the memory. It may have been north of the circle!
06/07/08 Bill Layton Charlie used to live on Nottingham Way (across the street from Trenton Speedway) in the early 60's. He owned a Studebaker dealership in Morrisville, Pa.  I remember going to Flemington and playing with Chip in the infield back then. I remember he drove a new Avanti that caught my eye back then.
