In 1954, a Modified super team came out of Florida with two 1937 sedans, #97A of Tommie Elliott and #97B of Jack Choquette. They won races all over the East Coast that year and by seasons end, Jack Choquette was the 1954 NASCAR National Modified champion and Tommie Elliott finished right behind in second. |
