Comments: Comments provided by Russ:  This Bob Sweeten photo shows Les Farley on August 14, 1959 at Alcyon Speedway in Pitman, N.J. Les had just finished 3rd in the feature and was 1st Sportsman. The modifieds (anything goes) ran with the Sportsman (1 - 4 barrel carburetor), with the sportsman starting at the front of the field. The first 3 Sportsman to finish in the feature were paid additional money and recognized for their finishes toward Sportsman points. Thanks, Russ Dodge

01/03/04 L Talbert What color was this car?
02/05/05 Russ Dodge It's been a long time since this was asked. The Tiona 64 was a saphire blue according to it's owner Barry Alrich. The car almost look a little blu/green under the lights. It was really a looker and ran well. Sonny Dornberger wrenched the car. Most cars at that time did not have metallic paint jobs with neat lettering and pin stripes.. Thanks, Russ Dodge
